| Social
Service Guild |
 |
| The
Social Service Guild is there to provide financial
assistance to the needy and deserving students
of the College. To finance the organisation,
each student of the college contributes an annual
subscription of Rs.2/- towards the Guild fund.
The Principal, as ex-officio President, controls
the fund of the Guild. |

| There
is an Executive Committee consisting of the
following members. |

| 1.
President - Principal (Ex-officio) |
 |
| 2.
Vice-President, to be nominated by the Principal
from among the members of the teaching staff. |
 |
| 3.
A few members of teaching staff nominated by
the Principal as Associate Vice-Presidents. |
 |
| 4.
Secretary - To be elected by the students of
the College. |
 |
| 5.
Asst. Secretary - to be elected by the students. |
 |
| National
Cadet Corps |
 |
| The
College is having a platoon of Girls' (SD) N.C.C.
in which 90 cadets are enrolled including 20
cadets of Air Wing and 10 cadets of Remount
and Veterinary Wing under the command and control
of an ANO. |
 |
| The
objectives of N.C.C. Training for girls are
(i) to develop personality, (ii) to develop
self-confidence, (iii) to build up physique
and courage, (iv) to teach those subjects which
would be useful during emergency and in day
to day life. |
 |
| The
aim of N.C.C. training is also to prepare the
cadets for the certificate `B' and `C' examinations. |
 |
| The
training period for the Senior Wing girls is
2 to 3 years; in special case, a cadet can be
given extension for one more year. At the end
of the second year of training, cadets are eligible
to appear in `B' Certificate examination and
at the end of third year, they are eligible
to appear in the `C' Certificate examination.
Cadets who pass `B' and `C' Certificate examination
or represent the State in the various All India
Camps and Courses get additional advantage of
marks over and above the marks they secure in
the aggregate in their last Board or Council
examination during admission to the next higher
class. |

| Cadets
are eligible to attend two camps during their
tenure in N.C.C. The following camps are organised
and held in various parts of our country. |
